Krisp Technologies, Inc. v. Sanas.AI Inc. Litigation
On September 8, 2025, Krisp Technologies, Inc. (“Krisp”) filed a legal response to Sanas.AI Inc. (“Sanas”) with two important pleadings:
- Krisp moved to dismiss Sanas’ claims for trade secret misappropriation and co-inventorship, and denied Sanas’ allegations of patent infringement in their entirety
- Krisp countersued Sanas for patent infringement related to Krisp’s Noise Cancellation technology and Sanas’ unfair competition practices

Krisp has filed the following actions against Sanas:
Patent Infringement
Sanas is infringing Krisp’s patented noise cancellation technology, which Krisp developed and brought to market beginning in 2018.
Unfair Competition and Business Practices
Sanas reproduced Krisp’s patented technology and began offering it for free in an attempt to undercut Krisp’s business and promote its own less effective product.
Krisp’s Motion to Dismiss:
Krisp has moved to dismiss Sanas’ claims of:
- Trade Secret Misappropriation under the U.S. Defend Trade Secrets Act and California Uniform Trade Secrets Act
- Declaratory Judgment of Co-Inventorship for two U.S. patents that Sanas claims joint ownership of
- False Advertising under the Lanham Act, California Business and Professional Code, and the California False Advertising Law
Krisp’s legal filings assert that:
- Sanas never provided Krisp with access to its technology or shared any confidential information
- Krisp independently developed its own superior Accent Conversion technology after ending unproductive partnership discussions with Sanas in 2022
